Here is a list of hotels in Nerja with their official rating and distance to the Balcon de Europa.
If you are staying at the wedding venue ask about discounted room rates (you must book direct with the hotel not with Booking.com or a travel agent).
If you try to book too far in advance ie, before the hotel has published its rates for that year (usually October of the previous year), especially with Booking.com the hotel will show as full. This terrifies people every year as they think they will be sleeping on the beach. Contact the hotel direct and ask them when they are likely to publish the rates for the following year.
Tripadvisor is a great resource for reviews on hotels, apartments, restaurants and attractions. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/
For most hotels and B+B´s I have put in 1 link for booking.com and 1 for the owners website. This is because there are pros and cons to booking direct with the owner and to booking with a company like booking.com

- HIGH PRICE RANGE
- Recommended for bride to stay night before the wedding and walk to the church
- Outstanding features: location (Balcon de Europa)/ views/ semi private mini beach
- My personal opinion: Expensive but great location. Helpful, friendly staff. Dated reception/communal areas but brand new rooms. Good for older guests who like to be on the flat & central.
- Probably the most wheel-chair friendly accommodation in town.

- My personal opinion: Great location. Rooms basic but clean, simple. Good for couples for a few nights

- My personal opinion: Great location, price, staff. No facilities other than roof terrace with pool. Great for couples & singles

- Outstanding features: location (Carabeo st)/ comfort/style of rooms/ excellent restaurant
- My personal opinion: Expensive, classy, elegant, luxurious rooms. Great location. Superb views. Great for the bride & groom as a special treat. (See also their apartments in apartment section). Or guests who want somewhere posh

- Outstanding features: big resort hotel/ large pool/ location Torrecilla beach. No kids allowed
- My personal opinion: Recently refurbished. It´s now very modern and smart. Great location (Torrecilla beach)

- My personal opinion: Expensive. Dated in a nice way, lovely staff, beautiful rooms, stunning sea views, lovely pool, garden area. Great for the bride & groom as a treat. Or guests who want somewhere posh

- Outstanding features: Price, location (los Huertos st)/ Small, friendly, Spanish.
- My personal opinion: Very clean, helpful friendly staff. Small garden pool area. Great restaurants very close-by. Great for foodie couples, singles.

- Outstanding features: Lovely pool area/ great views/ location (Almuñecar st)
- My personal opinion: The Paradores are famous for high end/ historic hotels. Looks much better inside than from the outside. Good for families/ older couples. Great pool area and sea views.

- My personal opinion: Situated in an unattractive residential area. Good for couples who want somewhere posh. Close to some great, local tapas bars

- My personal opinion: Over rated and heavily promoted. Popular with wedding parties but no-one ever seems to be happy here. More like a 3 star. The apartments are much better, they´re like little villas next to the beach

- Outstanding features: Location is a minus (old Malaga-Almeria road)
- My personal opinion: Out of town and next to a busy road. Nice pool area. A long, steep walk down to Burriana beach (10mins down 20 heart attack inducing mins back).

- My personal opinion: Expensive, great for families, lovely pool area, kids club. Distance from Nerja is a minus point
